The Pool is now open for 2023

Summer is almost here and the VOMC pool is now open for residents to use. The rules have been sent out in email and are posted so please read and follow them!

The pool hours will be as follows:
—> Daily Summer Hours: 11:00am to 8:00pm (Sun-Sat)
—> School Days (Mon-Fri): 4:00pm to 8:00pm (After school starts)

Only Village Of Mount Carmel, Inc. Members and Associate Members will be admitted to the pool.  Verification of membership will be performed daily by the lifeguards at the entrance. Any non-members or unpaid members attempting to enter will be considered trespassing on private property and will be asked to leave immediately.

Children under 12 must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult 18 or older.

DO NOT enter if you have a cough, fever, or other symptoms of illness.

YOU are expected to take responsibility for your own safety, as well as for the safety of those around you. The CDC guidelines recommend maintaining six feet between you and other people who are not part of your immediate household, and wearing a face covering when not in the pool. You are responsible for washing your hands as well as any objects you bring into the facility. Our pool chairs will be grouped and spaced apart with end tables, or you can bring your own chairs if you prefer.

Club Members may bring a maximum of six guests per day and must accompany them to the pool.

No smoking or vaping anywhere in the facilities

No pets are allowed in the pool area or on the tennis courts.

No food or drinks are allowed inside the pools or around the edges of the pools. No glass containers anywhere.

Use of alcoholic beverages shall be in compliance with the laws of the State of Indiana.

Non-swimmers must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult 18 or older. No large flotation devices.

The baby pool is for the use of children 5 and under.  These children are not the responsibility of the lifeguards, but of the accompanying responsible adult 18 or older.  These children shall not be left unattended.

Children who are not potty-trained shall wear diapers and tight fitting plastic pants.

There will be a 15-minute break every hour for the lifeguards.  Everyone under the age of eighteen (18) shall clear the pool during this time.  During this time, the lifeguards are not on duty and neither the Club nor the lifeguards shall be responsible for adults using the pool during the break.

The certified lifeguards provided by C&N Pool Management Inc. are responsible for the safety of everyone and have the authority to discipline swimmers and any and all other persons within the pool facility within their best judgment.

The pool may be closed due to emergencies, or due to poor weather conditions including lightning, for which there will be a one hour break from the last occurrence; thunder, for which there will be a half hour break from the last occurrence; and air temperature lower than 70 degrees Fahrenheit. If the poor weather conditions still exist at 6:00pm, the pool may be closed for the remainder of the day.
